Assessing Communicative Skills  The lesson that I chose to teach was taught to the entire dissever including an ELL bookman in a summer school program. The lesson plan was evenhandedly sportsmanship and was an important lesson for all the bookmans in the class because of the amount of foregather sports they will be playing, as a class, this summer as part of their summer program. The students were given a tend of questions to implication which I have include at the end of the lesson plan. afterwards they answered the questions, I had each student bring aloud a section of a handout on sportsmanship. I and then gave them a more formal lesson on sportsmanship. We then reviewed and discussed their answers to the identify of questions I gave them to make sure they fully understood what was deal and the lesson I gave them and to see if any of their original answers had changed. This lesson was great at evaluating reading, writing, comprehension, and verba l skills of the English Language learner because each was expend at some point or even three-fold times throughout the lesson. The lesson also gave numerous opportunities for the ELL student to engross with his peers as well as with the teacher. Comprehension : 4 - Understands nearly everything at pedestrian speech. Although occasional repetition may be necessary. The student was commensurate to follow along with the class discussion and only necessity clarification on the meaning of a few spotless lyric poem. B. Fluenc! y : 4 - Speech in workaday conference and classroom discussions generally fluent, with occasional lapses while the student searches for the countersink manner of expression.
